Peter’s career began as a DJ at KOTO FM in Telluride in 1995. He studied music and art at the University of Colorado at Boulder, while working as a concert producer for the university. After many late nights (and early mornings) on terrestrial radio, he moved to San Francisco to pursue a career in the emerging online music industry.
Since 2000, he has worked as an editor and producer for leading websites such as Rhapsody, CNET, MP3.com, Last.fm, CBS Radio, and GigMasters.com. He has developed many relationships with record labels and PR companies to acquire exclusive content. He has edited, produced and hosted video interviews with top artists such as Phoenix, The Avett Brothers, Jakob Dylan and podcast guru Marc Maron. He has covered major festivals and conferences as a editor and photographer. When he’s not at work you can find him golfing, making music, watching Comedy Central, or chasing his son around the playground.
